Map for the Future

Each map narrates a subjective tale and serves as a navigational aid. In this project, I created a counter map that uniquely reflects my personal connection to the world. Growing up, my father's frequent travels for work exposed me to a multitude of countries and cultures. Rather than relying on conventional geography, I drew inspiration from the souvenirs he brought back from each destination. These artifacts became my guideposts, shaping my perception of the world and forming an indirect yet profound bond with each country. Through this project, I invite viewers to reconsider the traditional notion of maps and contemplate the diverse ways in which we navigate and interpret our surroundings.
